Petroplasma celebrates 10 years in business
Petroplasma was founded in 2002 for the development and implementation of technology for plasma modification of metal surfaces. For 10 years of committed work, the company has achieved significant success and recognition in the Russian and international markets.
Today Petroplasma is a successful R&D company with a large number of implemented projects. Plasma cleaning and coating deposition units based on Petroplasma’s own innovative design are installed in the largest Russian and European metallurgical companies, such as WDI, SMS Siemag, Synarsky Steel Works and Arcelor.
Plasma units designed by Petroplasma enable quality cleaning and deposition of protective coatings on pipes of any diameter, flat rolled metals, oversized metal products, wire, foil and other products. The development of manual and robotic plasma tools as a new R&D field is being completed. A large-scale project with Gazprom Transgaz St.-Petersburg to create a mobile complex for cleaning of pipelines in the field is to be fulfilled.
Petroplasma has a lot of Russian and foreign patents. It is a domestic developer of innovative solutions and technologies recognized by the experts. In 2013 the Terwingo group of companies together with RUSNANO are to complete the construction of a plant for manufacture of high strength cutting wire for solar power engineering and microelectronics, with the innovative wire surface plasma treatment technology developed by Petroplasma to be used. Since 2011 Petroplasma has been a resident of Skolkovo Innovatiîn Center.
Since 2002 a scientific and design school in the field of plasma engineering has been formed in Petroplasma. In today's world no company is prepared for mass production of plasma machines for mechanical engineering, drawing and rolling production in metallurgy, main pipeline repairs, etc. Thus, Petroplasma will start mass production of these machines in 2013.
